2014 All-CCC Men's Soccer Teams Announced

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Student-athletes from all 10 member institutions in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) were represented on the 2014 All-CCC Men's Soccer Team. In addition to the all-conference team, five major individual award winners and the team sportsmanship award winner were also selected.

Gordon College sophomore Caleb Cole was named CCC Offensive Player of the Year, while University of New England senior Aidan McParland was honored with the CCC Defensive Player of the. Nichols College freshman Rielee Mohsin was selected as CCC Rookie of the Year. Salve Regina University senior Jacob Weinshank was named CCC Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year and Nichols's Chris Traina earned CCC Coach of the Year.  Eastern Nazarene College was the recipient of the Team Sportsmanship Award.

 Voting for the All-CCC team and each of the major awards was conducted among CCC men's soccer coaches.

Joining Cole (midfielder), Mohsin (forward), and McParland (goalkeeper) on the first team were forwards Andrew Carlson (Roger Williams),Evan Crocker (Gordon), Diego Slobotzky (Endicott) and Alex Wasilewski (Salve Regina),  midfielders Nick Gilmann (Curry) and Michael Perry (Nichols), backs Kyle Bisceglia (Endicott), Erik Holmquist (University of New England) and Phil Mitto (Nichols).

Second team selections included forwards Nathan Bilbie (Gordon), Matt Cotnoir (Curry), and Andrew Nelson (Eastern Nazarene), midfielders Conner Couchot (Endicott), Issa Demirgioglu (Salve Regina), and Trevor Sparda (Roger Williams), backs Steven Aston (Salve Regina), Patrick DeRosa (Nichols), Kristian Kasiguran (Gordon), Colin Macdonald (Western New England), and Sammy Wilson (Gordon), and goalkeeper Jeremy Nash (Nichols).

Receiving honorable mention were forwards Scott Hansen (Eastern Nazarene), Adam Rhodes (Wentworth), and Paul Sickenger (Nichols), midfielders Joe Kalil (Wentworth), Tiago Prazeres (Nichols), John Schwein (Gordon), and Neil Williams (Western New England), backs Cooper Allebrand (Roger Williams), Christian Cole, (Nichols), Kyle Farabaugh (Roger Williams), Andy Guthrie (Gordon), and Sam Martins (Wentworth) and goalkeepers Alex Jorge (Endicott) and Kevin Strobel (Western New England).
