Colonels Fall to Gulls in CCC Quarterfinals

BEVERLY, Mass. - The Curry College Men's Lacrosse team was defeated by Endicott College in the Commonwealth Coast Conference Quarterfinals Saturday afternoon by a final score of 14-1.

With the loss, Curry Men's Lacrosse closes out their season with an overall record of 5-12 and 2-7 in the CCC.

The Colonels quickly marked the first goal of the afternoon matchup. Curry's Stephen Stackhouse (Hopewell Junction, N.Y.) netted a shot just 52 seconds into the contest, granting the Colonels an early lead. 

The Colonels held onto the one-goal lead for the majority of the first quarter until Gulls sophomore Nick Pagluiso tied the matchup at 1-1 with just 1:40 remaining in the first 15 minutes of action.

Endicott tallied 14 unanswered goals through regulation Saturday afternoon to claim the CCC Quarterfinal victory over Curry College 14-1 at Hempstead Stadium. 

Curry's Evan Falandys (Leominster, Mass.) recorded 18 saves through 45 minutes of play in the loss on the road. 

Endicott's Tim Luciano marked 10 saves on 11 shots in the playoff win for the Gulls at home.
