Duddy, Stebbins Selected to Play in NEILA East-West Senior All-Star Game

MILTON, Mass. – Ryan Duddy (Manchester Center, Vt.) and Jake Stebbins (Colchester, Vt.) of the Curry College men's lacrosse team were two of 52 student-athletes to be selected for the annual New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association's East-West Senior All-Star Game. The game will be played on Friday, June 4 at Roger Williams University, beginning at 7:00 p.m.

All players and coaches were nominated by head coaches within the NEILA. Players were then ranked and selected by a committee, awarding seniors from all three NCAA Divisions who played their college career within the New England region. This all-star game is the only one of its kind, being a regional all-star game, which includes players from Divisions I, II, and III.

"This is a great opportunity to highlight the college careers of these young men. For many, it is one last time for them to play an organized game against such high competition. It is also a chance to compete with players you may have battled against throughout your college career," said Tim Murphy, head coach of Curry College and coordinator of the East-West All-Star team selection.

Duddy played in 37 career games, making 20 starts. He scooped up 38 ground balls and added 20 caused turnovers over his four years with the Colonels.

A two-time Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) All-Conference selection, Stebbins played in 67 games and concludes his career with 130 points on 81 goals and 49 assists. He also tallied 180 ground balls and 25 caused turnovers.

Both Duddy and Stebbins will be members of the East squad, which will be coached by Ben Feintuck (Lasell), Kyle Hayes (Babson), Nick Neugebauer (University of New England), and Matt Gilbert (St. Joe's).
