White Named IMLCA Division III All-Region Honorable Mention

MILTON, Mass. – Rising senior midfielder Zach White (Milford, Conn.) was named as a Division III Northeast Region Honorable Mention selection on the face-off unit by the Intercollegiate Men's Lacrosse Coaches' Association's (IMLCA), the organization announced Monday afternoon.

The two-time Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) All-Conference selection led the 2018 team at the face-off dot, going 196-for-289 while also collecting a team-high 148 ground balls. Additionally, White played in all 16 games, making 14 starts and put up eight goals and six assists for 14 points.

White ended his junior season at Curry as one of the most prominent players at the conference level in a number of categories, ranking in the top five in face-offs and ground balls. After being named a Third Team All-CCC selection a year ago, White catapulted to the First Team in 2018. Nationally, White placed in the top 10 in ground balls per game and in the top 15 in face-off winning percentage. White was one of five representatives from the CCC on the All-Region Northeast Team.  

The IMLCA honored 195 Division III student-athletes separating them on one of the five All-Region teams, with each of the four regions naming a first team, second team and honorable mention selections.
