Bronander, McGreevy Chosen To Play in NEILA East-West All-Star Game

MILTON, Mass. – Two student-athletes from the Curry College men's lacrosse program will have the opportunity to play one more game as Chris Bronander (Glen Ridge, N.J.) and Chris McGreevy (Rocky Point, N.Y.) were selected to compete in the 2018 New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) East-West All-Star Game.

A total of 50 student-athletes will compete in this year's East-West Senior All Star Game on Friday, June 1, showcasing the best of the region's players from all three Divisions.

Bronander played in and started all 16 games this past season. Offensively he tallied one goal and two assists for three points. Additionally, Bronander scooped up 64 ground balls and had a team-high 32 caused turnovers. During his four year career, he played in 66 games while making 54 starts. The defender put up eight points on three goals and five assists. On the defensive side of the ball, he picked up 191 ground balls and caused 113 turnovers. Bronander was a two-time Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Defensive Player of the Week selection in 2018.

McGreevy played in and started all 16 games for the Colonels this past season. A Second Team All-CCC selection, McGreevy tallied two assists, 17 ground balls, and 11 caused turnovers. Over his four year career, McGreevy played in 65 games, making 53 starts. He has two assists for two points along with 82 ground balls and 26 caused turnovers.

The game will take place at Penmen Stadium at Southern New Hampshire University and begin at 6:30 p.m. and will feature the top graduating students from Divisions 1, 2, and 3.
