Teller Earns CCC Defensive Player of the Week Honors

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Curry College men's lacrosse junior goalie Josh Teller (Milford, Conn.) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon. Teller came up big in two games last week as he helped the Colonels go 2-0.

Teller picked up two non-conference victories in goal for the Curry this past week. He made 13 saves in an 11-7 triumph over Plymouth State to open the week and then made six saves in 45 minutes of action against Rivier in 14-7 win. Across the two games, he posted a 7.43 goals-against average and a 59.4 save percentage.

Teller and the Colonels will next play on Tuesday, March 20 at home against the University of Southern Maine at 4:00 p.m.
