Men's Lacrosse Volunteers at Call to Honor Triathlon

BOXFORD, Mass. – The Curry College men's lacrosse team volunteered at the Call to Honor Triathlon in Boxford, Mass. on Sun., Sept. 10. Team members were in boats during the swim, throughout the course at water stands for the bike and run, cheering in groups at the finish line handing out fruit and water, and a group was even put in charge of the concession stand for the post-race events.  The race is held in honor of Rick Cashin, father of senior Tom Cashin (Boxford, Mass.), who lost his life in the line of duty as a state trooper.

"This is a great event that we have now done for a couple years," said Head Coach Tim Murphy. "Every year the CTH does a great job with the Cashin family in honoring Mr. Cashin's memory and service to the Boxford Athletic Community."
