SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Curry College freshman Jake Stebbins (Colchester, Vt.) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Rookie of the Week. This marks the second time this season that Stebbins has achieved this honor. Additionally, he was honored as the ECAC Division III North Rookie of the Week. 

Stebbins played a huge role in the Colonels' road playoff victory against No. 4 seed Roger Williams on Saturday. He scored two goals in the contest including a late tally that broke an 8-8 tie and would prove to be the game-winner. He also had four ground balls in that contest.

Stebbins and Curry return to action on Wednesday when they travel to Endicott for the CCC Tournament Semifinals at 7:00 p.m.
