Curry Men's Lacrosse Team to Host Johnson and Wales in First Round of ECAC Tournament

DANBURY, Conn. – The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) announced that Swarthmore College has been selected as the top seed in the 2016 ECAC Division III Mid-Atlantic Men's Lacrosse Championship tournament after finishing the season with a 10-6 overall record.

This year's tournament features a field of six teams. In the first round of games, No. 3 Lebanon Valley College (10-7) will host No. 6 Moravian College (10-5) on and No. 4 seed Curry College (10-6) will host No. 5 seed Johnson & Wales University (10-9) on Wednesday.

The winner of the first semifinal game will advance to play top seed Swarthmore on Saturday, May 14 at Swarthmore. The winner of the Lebanon Valley/Moravia matchup will take on No. 2 seed Stockton University (14-4) on Saturday as well.

Swarthmore will host the championship game on Sunday, May 15.

First Round – Wednesday, May 11

No. 3 Lebanon Valley (10-7) vs. No. 6 Moravian (10-5) at Lebanon Valley

No. 4 Curry (10-6) vs. No. 5 seed Johnson & Wales (10-9) – at Curry

Semifinals – Saturday, May 14 at Swarthmore

Semifinal #1: No. 1 Swarthmore vs.  #4 Curry / #5 Johnson & Wales winner – 1:00 pm

Semifinal #2: No. 2 Stockton vs. #3 Lebanon Valley / #6 Moravian winner – 4:00 pm 

Championship – Sunday, May 15 at Swarthmore

Winner Semifinal #1 vs. Winner Semifinal #2 – 1:00 pm
