MILTON, Mass. - The Curry College Men's Lacrosse Team has spent a number of days during the early part of the semester participating in multiple community service events. They include:

Call To Honor Triathlon

On Sunday, September 13th, members of the Curry Men's Lacrosse Team woke up early and drove to Boxford, Massachusetts to volunteer at the Call To Honor Triathlon.  This community service event is close to the heart of Curry Men's Lacrosse as it honors the life of Massachusetts State Trooper Rick Cashin, who lost his life in the line of duty and was the father of Curry student-athlete Tom Cashin.

Susan G. Komen – Race for a Cure

On Sunday, September 27th, the members of the Curry Men's Lacrosse Team volunteered for the fourth-consecutive year at the Susan G. Komen Race for a Cure, in support of breast cancer awareness.

Head Strong Foundation – Mustache Madness

On October 19th, the Curry Men's Lacrosse Team began their first annual campaign for the Head Strong Foundation's Mustache Madness.

Lacrosse Mustache Madness™ (LMM) is an annual fall fundraising campaign benefitting the essential programs and services provided by the HEADstrong Foundation to support those affected by cancer.  LMM, is a social media driven fundraising campaign that encourages lacrosse players and teams to grow, draw or simply wear a mustache in effort to raise money for the cause.

To date, the Curry Men's Lacrosse Team is ranked 9th out of 46 teams taking part in this fundraiser, and almost a third of the way to their team goal. Once the goal is surpassed, the team continues to raise money and awareness through this social media driven campaign.
