Men's Lacrosse to Participate in Purple Ribbon Challenge on October 5

THE 3rd ANNUAL SAINT ANSELM COLLEGE PURPLE RIBBON LACROSSE CHALLENGE
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 5, 2014 AT 10 AM
ADMISSON: $5 FOR ADULTS AND $3 FOR CHILDREN

This fall, the Saint Anselm Men's Lacrosse Program, through the 3rd Annual "Purple Ribbon Lacrosse Challenge," once again, supports the Purple Ribbon Cause. Every spring, the Purple Ribbon Mother's Day 5K Run, held in Bow, NH, raises money to fund cancer research at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston (The Michelle Cadorette Fund For Malignant Thymoma Research), as well as The Michelle L. Cadorette Scholarship, given to graduating BHS seniors. Michelle Cadorette, a 1991 graduate of Saint Anselm College, battled Malignant Thymoma for 14 years, as well as Pure Red Cell Aplasia more recently, before passing away in August of 2013.

RAFFLE TICKETS WILL BE SOLD THROUGHOUT THE DAY AND PRIZES WILL INCLUDE:

  • 2 Celtics tickets (loge level)
  • $100 American Express gift card
  • Tickets to a Manchester Monarchs game (farm team of the 2013 Stanley Cup champion LA Kings)
  • One-night stay at the Crowne Plaza in Nashua, NH
  • "b Positive t-shirts
  • Assorted gift certificates to restaurants in the Manchester, NH area


ALSO, sterling silver sea glass jewelry and longevity turtle necklaces/earrings will be sold at the event, with proceeds going to the MGH Fund.

11am: AIC vs. Curry
12pm: Franklin Pierce v. SE Maine
1pm: Saint Anselm vs. Northeastern
2pm: AIC vs. SE Maine
3pm: Franklin Pierce vs. Northeastern
