Fein Selected to Play in NEILA East-West Senior All-Star Game

NEWTON, Mass. - The 2014 New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) East-West Senior All-Star Game participants have been selected and seven Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) men's lacrosse student-athletes will be participating, including Curry College defender Marc Fein (East Greenbush, N.Y.), who was the lone CCC student-athlete selected to participate on the West team.

"It is fitting that Marc receive such an honor after his career here at Curry," said Colonels' Head Coach Tim Murphy. "Marc made an impact on this program as soon as he put on a uniform. My staff and I have been lucky to work with him these past two years and we appreciate the stamp that he has left on our program."

Fein was a two-year captain for the Colonels. He started in 15 of the Colonels' 16 games this past season. The senior led the Curry defense with 18 caused turnovers on the year. The defender also scooped up 37 ground balls which ranked him second on the squad.

The East-West Senior All-Star Game will be played at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 30, at Stagg Field on the campus of Springfield College.
