Men's Lacrosse Holds Annual Alumni Game

Men's Lacrosse Holds Annual Alumni Game

MILTON, Mass. - Last Saturday, April 12th, 15 alumni showed up for the annual spring Alumni Game.  The game lasted about an hour, playing full field six-on-six.  Julio Lopez was awarded the MVP honors with two goals and an assist.

Head Coach Tim Murphy had this to say about the event. "The spring alumni game is a time to get some of our alums back to campus to see a game as well as get up and down the field a bit.  With many alumni still involved in the sport of lacrosse, we understand that the spring is a busy time for everyone and are very appreciative of the guys that were able to set aside the time to make it back to Milton.  The pizza in the parking lot between the Alumni Game and our conference game was well-earned by these guys running around for an hour!"

Curry Men's Lacrosse will host another Alumni Game again this fall, during their non-traditional Fall Ball segment. In the fall, the alumni team will have a chance to play with and against the current Colonels roster.
