Men's Lacrosse Holds Fall Alumni Game

The Men's Lacrosse Team marked the halfway point of the Fall season with their annual Alumni Game on Katz Field this past Sunday. The current Colonels faced off against their predecessors to showcase the great strides made by the program and enjoy a friendly competition with some former teammates. The alumni team, numbering a solid fifteen "retired Colonels", had their hands full with the current roster.

The 2013-14 Colonels showed some new faces and a few new looks in route to a victory on the evening, although the scoreboard was certainly not the focus in this matchup. As Coach Murphy explained, "The support from the alumni was, and is, a great thing to have. It provides an opportunity for the younger and new guys on our team to see how tight knit the groups that have come and gone are. We are certainly thankful to all our alumni and very happy that many made it out to experience the future of Curry Lacrosse firsthand."

The Men's Lacrosse Team enjoyed the night as well, but it was back to work the following week. After another solid week of practice the team will compete again, this time against each other in an intersquad scrimmage on Sunday. After that, Fall Ball will conclude with the final competition of the fall, one that the coaches and players are very much looking forward to.
