SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Curry College junior defender Mel Brickey (Chelmsford, Mass.) and senior midfielder Joseph Natale (Haverhill, Mass.) were named as Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week and Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week, respectively, for the period ending on March 10.

Brickey helped lead the Colonels to a 20-7 win over Mount Ida. Brickey gathered 13 ground balls and 18 draw controls, while causing five turnovers in the victory. She also scored five goals and added an assist.

Natale led the Colonels to a 14-13 victory over Southern Maine, netting the game-winning goal in overtime. Natale recorded five goals and an assist in the victory, while also recording a 77.8 shots-on-goal percentage. With the victory, the Colonels find themselves off to a great start to the 2013 campaign, with an overall record of 3-0.
