Hockey Ranked 14th in Latest USCHO Poll

MILTON, Mass. – After wins over nationally-ranked UMass Boston and Babson last weekend, the Curry College men's ice hockey team is now tied for 14th in the latest USCHO poll, as announced on Monday afternoon.

The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point came in the top slot in the poll with 284 points and 12 first-place votes. Norwich followed behind the Pointers with 282 points and seven first-place tallies. St. Norbert (259), Geneseo (236, one first-place vote), and Oswego (213) round out the top five.

Hobart (201), Augsburg (185), Adrian (171), Trinity (110), and Manhattanville (88) make up the middle part of the poll in that order.

Fellow Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) member the University of New England (82), UW-Eau Claire (74), UMass Boston (64), Utica (39), and Curry (39) close out the rankings.

The No. 14 Colonels return to action on Friday, November 8 at Endicott at 7:15 p.m. Curry will then play its home opener at the Canton Ice House, completing the home-and-home series with the Gulls on Saturday, November 9 at 2:50 p.m.
