Curry Hockey Places 16 on AHCA All-American Scholars List

MILTON, Mass. – The Curry College men's ice hockey team saw 16 student-athletes named to the America Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) All-American Scholars list, which was announced by the AHCA late last week. The 16 honorees ranked first among all Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) institutions and second in the nation. 

The 16 student-athletes named to the list include Frank Cundiff (Oceanside, N.Y.), Joseph DiBenedetto (Anchorage, Alaska), Zoltan Eross (Budapest, Hungary), Ryan Fitzgerald (Cary, N.C.), Mack Heisinger (Winnipeg, Manitoba), Victor Jansson (Stockholm, Sweden), Phil Kiss (Burlington, Ontario), Kasper Kjellkvist (Vaxjo, Sweden), Jarret Kup (Rosseau, Ontario), Tyler Lindstrom (Brooklyn Park, Minn.), Lionel Mauron (Lausanne, Switzerland), Alec Mono (Las Vegas, Nev.), Tristan Morin (Unionville, Conn.), Shane Tracy (Bow, N.H.), Anthony Trujillo (Toronto, Ontario), and Jordan Williamson (Okotoks, AB).

To be eligible for the list, a student-athlete must have an average GPA of at least 3.6 and participated in 40 percent or more of the teams' games during the 2017-18 season.
