Hockey Volunteers at South Shore Conference Youth Hockey Checking Clinic

BROCKTON, Mass. – On September 9-10, the Curry College Men's Hockey team took part in running the South Shore Conference Youth Hockey checking clinic.  The clinic was held at the Brockton High School Arena. There were a total of 25 towns that had teams come through.  Over the course of the weekend, 20 Curry Hockey student-athletes were there helping out as well as Assistant Coach Mike MacDonald.  The clinic served as a gateway for all youth hockey teams who are becoming the eligible age to body check in the sport of hockey.  The players at Curry feel it is very important to give back to the kids and the community and this was one of those times where it worked for everyone.  It was a great weekend for Curry Hockey and the surrounding towns.
