MILTON, Mass. – Jake Heisinger '17 (Winnipeg, Manitoba) has accepted the position of Manager, Hockey Operations and Player Experience with the Kootenay Ice of the Western Hockey League which plays in the Canadian Hockey League, commonly referred to as "Major Junior".

Heisinger follows in the footsteps of father into the front office. Craig Heisinger is the Assistant General Manager of the Winnipeg Jets in the National Hockey League and the General Manager of the Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League.

"I am thrilled to start my career in the hockey industry. My time at Curry College and with the hockey program prepared me for this next step in my life. The relationships with my coaches, teammates, and teachers have shaped who I am and will always be cherished," said Heisinger.

While a member of the Colonels hockey team, Heisinger was an Assistant Captain and a two-time Hockey Humanitarian finalist.
