After the teams traded buckets to open the contest, the Lions embarked on a 13-0 run to grab a 15-2 lead with 14:40 left in the opening half. Curry pulled to within 12 (22-10) on a three pointer from Dashawn Williams (New Haven, Conn.). Eastern Nazarene would quickly get the lead back up to 18 but a jump shot from Thorpe-Johnson with three seconds left in the half sent the Colonels into the locker room with a 16-point deficit, 32-16.

The Lions led by as many as 30 in the second half, but Thorpe-Johnson knocked down two free throws with 5:55 remaining in regulation to make the score 67-53, their smallest lead of the stanza. It took little time for ENC to get the lead back to 20 as they went onto capture the game by a 23-point margin, 85-62.

Curry will next travel to Emerson on Saturday, December 8 at 3:00 p.m. Eastern Nazarene (3-5 overall) returns to action on December 12 at home against Gordon College at 7:00 p.m.
