Men's Basketball Tripped Up 88-60 at Brandeis in Season Opener

WALTHAM, Mass. – The Curry College Men's Basketball Team fell at non-conference opponent Brandeis University, 88-60, on Friday afternoon in the season opener for both schools.

The Colonels were led by junior Trey Jones (Mattapan, Mass.) with a game-high 21 points. Classmate James Pina (Warwick, R.I.) chipped in with 12 points and paced Curry on the boards with six rebounds.

Curry shot 35.2% (19-for-54) from the floor including 28.6% (6-for-21) from beyond the arc.

The Colonels open their home schedule on Sunday, hosting #8 nationally-ranked Elmhurst College at 1:00 p.m.
