Broderick returned to the Curry College football coaching staff in 2021 after previously coaching the Colonels for three seasons from 2017 to 2019. He brings years of coaching experience to the Colonels’ sideline, mostly at the high school level. Broderick’s coaching stops have included serving as an Assistant Coach at Arlington High School and the Defensive Coordinator at Saugus High School. He has worked as the running backs coach at the Holy Cross College football camp from 2011-13 and the quarterbacks coach at the US Naval Academy Football Camp from 2008-10.

Additionally, Broderick was the Head Coach of the basketball team at Arlington High School from 1997-2008 and the Head Coach at Saugus High School in 2008-09.

Broderick earned a B.A. in Sociology from Suffolk University in 1992 and then earned his Master’s degree in Education from UMass-Boston in 2000.

Broderick currently serves as the Head Football Coach at Saugus High School, a position he has held since 2005. He was named the Coach of the Year by the Northeastern Conference and the Lynn Daily Item in 2007 and then was the Head Coach for the Agganis All-Star Game in 2008. He is also a Co-Director of the Boston Baseball Camps, a program for disadvantaged children in the city of Boston which is sponsored by the Yawkey Foundation and the Boston Red Sox.

Broderick currently resides in Belmont, Mass. and serves as a teacher at Saugus High School.
