SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Junior defensive lineman Hunter Atwood (Reading, Mass.) has been named as the Commonwealth Coast Football (CCC Football) Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league office on Sunday morning.

Atwood and the Curry defense held Becker to just six points on Saturday. He led the team with 10 tackles (eight solo, two assisted). One of his tackles was a sack that went for a one-yard loss.

Atwood and the Colonels (3-6 overall, 1-4 CCC Football) are on their bye week this week and will return to action on Saturday, November 10 at Nichols at noon in its season finale.
