Cheerleaders Place 4th at College Nationals in Daytona Beach, Florida

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Curry College Cheerleading Team finished in 4th place at the NCA/NDA Collegiate National Championship in Daytona Beach, Florida on April 11. This is the fifth-consecutive year the Cheerleaders have competed at Nationals.

They scored an 8.275 out of 10.0 at the final competition, icluding their best-ever routine on the bandshell.

All-Girl II Intermediate is one of the most challenging divisions at NCA Nationals. There were 13 teams in their division, and a total of 300 colleges competing for a National Championship. “We did compete against some of our hometown teams like Bridgewater State University and Framingham State University,” said Head Coach Nicole Bello.

“We are extremely excited for the upcoming 2013-2014 season to bring on new members to share in all the great success the Cheerleading program has had,” added Bello.
