Senior Tyler Jenkins (East Bridgewater, Mass.) registered two hits while freshman Julian Jaume (Brooklyn, N.Y.) and Jason Leonard (Dedham, Mass.), sophomore Dylan Ketterer (Plymouth, Mass.), senior Jack Kallinich (Madison, Conn.), and junior Adam Duarte (East Providence, R.I.) accounted for the Colonels' seven hits.

The Hawks opened the scoring in the third inning on a two-RBI triple to right center by senior Chris Bosco (North Andover, Mass.), which scored junior Joey Gulino (Meriden, Conn.) and freshman Tommy Hobin (Madison, Conn.). The home squad added to the lead in the fourth on a sacrifice bunt from sophomore Tyler Cedeno (Maynard, Mass.) to the pitcher to score sophomore Brandon Jenkins (East Bridgwater, Mass.). Jenkins was back in the action in the seventh on a sacrifice fly to left, which plated freshman Ben Bonavita (East Longmeadow, Mass.) from third to go up 5-0. Gulino rounded out the scoring with a two-run shot. The homer also scored junior Eddy Jackson (Seekonk, Mass.).

Hewlette registered his first win of the season on the hill, allowing four hits over seven innings. He also walked three and struck out four. Flynn converted a six-out save for his second of the season, only surrendering three hits while fanning one.

Sophomore Zachary Wensley (Raynham, Mass.) was tagged for the loss on the mound, tossing five innings of work. He allowed three runs (one earned) on six hits while striking out five and walked just two.

Game Two – Curry 5, Roger Williams 5 (Play Suspended After Eight Innings)

The Colonels were the first to strike in game two on an RBI double to right center by freshman Evan Leveroni (Sandown, N.H.), which helped score junior Jared Keller (Oxford, Conn.) to give Curry the early 1-0 lead in the first.

Roger Williams found the equalizer in the second as Jackson connected on a base hit to left with the bases loaded. The base knock plated Jenkins. The Hawks then took the lead in the third frame on a sacrifice bunt from Cedeno to the pitcher, which helped Bonavita score from third.

The Colonels knotted the game at two in the sixth after Ketterer singled up the middle to score Jenkins.

The contest swung back in favor of Roger Williams in the seventh as Cedeno singled to center field to drive in junior Danny Roth (West Hartford, Conn.) and Bonavita to make the score 4-2.

Curry answered back with three in the eighth to regain the lead. Leveroni reached on an error by Hobin and the miscue allowed freshman Trevor Pietrzyk (Taunton, Mass.) to score from third. The Colonels found the scoring column again via an error as freshman Michael Mulrean (South Easton, Mass.) and Jenkins crossed home on another error by Hobin to give the visitors a 5-4 lead.

The Hawks scored the tying run in the eighth on a single through the left side from Roth, which helped score junior Justin Stone (Blackstone, Mass.) to knot the game, 5-5.
