Griffin and Fogarty Selected to Play in FCBL All-Star Game
 MILTON, Mass. – Curry College rising senior David Griffin (Hanover, Mass.) and rising junior Matt Fogarty (Millis, Mass.) have been selected to the to play in the Future Collegiate Baseball League (FCBL) All-Star Game on Tuesday, July 18 at Muzzy Field in Bristol, Conn. Both Griffin and Fogarty are playing summer ball with the Brockton Rox.

 

Griffin is one of 10 pitchers selected to represent the on the East squad, while Fogarty makes the East team by way of the fan vote.  

Griffin has appeared in 10 games on the hill for Brockton, making one start. He holds a record of 2-1 with an earned run average of 2.74. He has converted one save while tossing 19.2 innings of work. The right hander has recorded 30 strikeouts to just eight walks.

Fogarty has played in seven games on the mound, starting in all of them. He has a record of 1-0 while tallying an ERA of 3.76. The Millis, Mass. native has tossed 28.2 innings of action while registering 20 strikeouts and 18 walks.

Griffin and Fogarty helped the Curry baseball team to a 15-20 overall record with a 10-6 mark in the Commonwealth Coast Conference this past spring.
