MILTON, Mass. - Curry College senior Thomas Fitzpatrick (So. Boston, Mass.) has been named as Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Pitcher of the Week for the period ending on April 19.

Fitzpatrick went the distance in the Colonels' five-hit, 1-0 victory over Western New England in the opening game of Saturday's doubleheader. Against the CCC's highest-scoring team in conference play, Fitzpatrick struck out two and walked two.  Earlier in the week, Fitzpatrick tossed a scoreless inning in an 8-2 victory over Bridgewater State.  He tossed eight scoreless innings over the course of the week.
