SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Curry College freshman catcher Nick Crivello (Millville, Mass.) has been named as Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Baseball Rookie of the Week for the period ending on April 27.

Crivello collected multiple hits in all four of the Colonels' games last week, leading the squad to a 2-2 mark. On the week, Crivello batted .562 (9-for-16) with one double, one home run, four RBI and three runs scored.  In non-conference play, he posted three hits and three RBI in a tough 6-5 setback at Brandeis, added two hits and drove in a run in a 4-3 victory over UMass-Boston. Crivello added two hits in both ends of a doubleheader at CCC rival Eastern Nazarene, including two runs scored in Curry's 9-0 win in the opener.
