Melville enters her tenth year as Curry's Head Athletic Trainer in 2021-22, a position she has held since July 2012. She is responsible for overseeing the Department of Sports Medicine that provides athletic training services for all 15 of the Colonels' NCAA Division III varsity sports. Melville supervises a staff of two full-time and one-part time assistant athletic trainer.

Melville earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Fitness and Leisure Studies with a concentration in Athletic Training and a Minor in Biology from Salem State College and then went on to earn her Master of Business Administration (MBA) with an emphasis in Sport Management from Nichols College.

Melville began her athletic training career while at Nichols, first as a graduate assistant (2004-2006), and then as an assistant athletic trainer (August 2006-January 2007). She then moved on to Mount Ida College, where she served as Head ATC from January 2007 to July 2011. Melville was also employed as a clinical assistant at South Shore Orthopedics for one year (July 2011-July 2012).

A native of East Boston, Massachusetts, and a graduate of East Boston High School, Melville currently resides in Dracut, Massachusetts.
