Colonels Continue Tradition and Assist at Milton Monster Dash

MILTON, Mass. – At the end of October, members of the Curry College baseball, men's soccer, and women's lacrosse programs volunteered at the 21st Annual Monster Dash 5K Race and Fun Run sponsored by the Milton Foundation for Education. This marked the eighth consecutive year that Curry College student-athletes were involved in this event and they were excited to interact with the Milton community.

The student-athletes completed a variety of tasks to help facilitate the Monster Dash. They helped create a positive, fun-filled atmosphere, whether they were at the tattoo and face painting station, leading a group dance to help kick start the event or manning one of the three water stations along the course.

I have been on the board of the Milton Foundation for Education for seven years and we have never, ever, had such a fantastic group from Curry," said Will Korman, the President of the Milton Foundation for Education. "Everyone not only showed up (on time), but they actively participated and added some much-needed spark to a rainy event. I cannot say enough about their willingness to do whatever we asked, their collective good nature, energy, and eagerness. Thank you so much for participating in our event this year. we could not have done it without you," said Korman.
