Student-Athletes Volunteer at Team IMPACT Gala

BOSTON, Mass. – On Wednesday, May 1, people packed the Seaport World Trade Center to raise funds and awareness for Team IMPACT's seventh annual Game Day Gala. The sports-themed benefit was co-chaired by Jeff Leiden and Josh Gold and emceed by ESPN's Wendi Nix. The event featured a high-end live and silent auction, local college cheerleaders and mascots, and recognized Team IMPACT children, families, and participating teams.

A special thanks to women's lacrosse junior Abby Dubel (Wolfeboro, N.H.) and Curry student Matt Coakley for volunteering their time for the event. "It was such an amazing, humbling experience. I can't wait to go again next year," Dubel said of the opportunity.
