46 Student-Athletes Named To CCC Spring 2017 Academic All-Conference Team
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) announced the Spring Academic All-Conference Team on Monday afternoon. A record number of student-athletes donned Academic All-Conference status this spring. A total of 556 were recognized across the CCC's 10 full member institutions and three associate members. Curry had 46 student-athletes named to this list.
The Spring Academic All-Conference list consists of student-athletes that participate in women's basketball, men's basketball, men's ice hockey, baseball, golf, men's and women's lacrosse, men's tennis and softball. Participants in the CCC swimming and diving or track and field invitationals from those schools are also eligible.
In order to be eligible as a member of the Academic All-Conference Team, an athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.3 (on a 4.0 scale) and must also have attained sophomore status.
