A native of Marshfield, Massachusetts, Nick Commesso is currently a head instructor for Mike Buckley’s Goaltending Development Services and returns to the Colonels for his second season. Commesso graduated from Assumption College in 2017 with a degree in History. In a four year career at Assumption, Commesso finished with school records in Goals Against Average and Save Percentage. Commesso’s career was capped off in his senior season, winning the first championship in program history, earning all-tournament team and tournament MVP honors. Commesso was also presented the Francis J. Grimaldi award for spirit and courage at the Assumption College Athletics banquet in the Spring of 2017. Prior to Assumption, Commesso played one season for the Walpole Express of the AJHL, and two years with The Governor’s Academy.
